Pet vaccination is necessary just like human vaccinations. Infections can be deadly if pet is not vaccinated. Vaccination of pets is absolutely necessary not just for pets , as well as for pet owners as some infections might spread from animals to humans which pause serious risk to health of pet owners.

Vaccinations are cost effective and much cheaper than dealing with disease itself. While there could be some vaccinations that are optional, but a dog need to get rabies vaccination legally, i.e required by law as rabies can be life threatening for someone your dog bite.
